Laudato Si’ Serata
The “Laudato si’ Serata” (Evening) is a cultural event that promotes the message of the Encyclical Laudato si’, on the care of the common home, written by Pope Francis. The aim is to create awareness, through art, culture, music, about the climate crisis we are facing and to provide a space for integral ecological conversion in favour of future generations.
During the time of the Laudato Si’ Revolution campaign, we will hold two great concerts that will have “integral ecology” as their focus. One will be in March 2021 in Madrid, Spain and the other in May 2021 in Manila, Philippines.
If you wish to organize a Laudato Si’ Serata with your community (concert, play) write to us at pax@ofm.org to help promote it through our website www.seratalaudatosi.org and our social networks.
“Even living on little, they can live a lot, above all when they cultivate other pleasures and find satisfaction in fraternal encounters, in service, in developing their gifts, in music and art, in contact with nature, in prayer. Happiness means knowing how to limit some needs which only diminish us and being open to the many different possibilities which life can offer.”
(Pope Francis, LS. 223)
