Fr. La compañía es dueña de los paneles y los Franciscanos pagan a la compañía una suma con descuento por la energía que consumen. El contrato que los hermanos firmaron con la compañía Solar City estipula que, a los seis años de funcionamiento, ellos pueden comprar los paneles solares.
Hace doscientos años la tierra donde están ubicados el Santuario y los paneles perteneció a Charles Carroll. Él fue el único católico que firmó la Declaración de Independencia en 1776.
